After much singing and dancing, that lifesize triceratops is finally ready for delivery. By which they mean bringing it to my house. But not unloading it from the truck. So I have to find a forklift and and operator—and no one I’ve called provides both!

The company also suggests the alternative of hiring 6 or 8 strong guys

sigh

I’m sure a few of us wouldn’t mind coming and helping…

After multiple—and contradictory*—back-and-forths with the company, over several months, this morning I decided to CANCEL the triceratops.

Makes me sad, but let’s see how THIS goes!

______

* Including contradicting their own website!

Thanks, Brian. A definite pain where I sit!

Their website says they charge 25% for “returns”. I wonder if they’ll try to #%*@ me with that!

Seems like it would've been less of a hassle to try to acquire a real Triceratops. Why sell something so neat for what has to be a limited market of buyers with so much difficulty?

You have to receive it to return it, right?

I have a feeling now they're going to make every effort to get it delivered to you off the truck rather than have you go through with canceling it. Weird customer service though.

Weird to the point of actually being "customer disservice".
