Oh Brother! Will tomorrow bring what I think will be a memorable action packed page or will we be kept in suspense and have worry about our heroes' predicament? Why wont this mouse scroll to the next page already!!

I subscribe to the "Spider-Man is best as a loner" doctrine, except in cases like this – Spidey should absolutely have a strong, friendly understanding with the Fantastic Four. Maybe there's a "specialist rule" for the FF about "family."

(That's a long-winded way of saying I love how Spidey can instinctively jump in and set Ben or Johnny up to win. He's smart and flexible!)

I subscribe to the John Byrne is still amongst the best of the best comic
book creators to ever put stories to paper doctrine. My god. To be on this
side of a such a great career and be THIS damn good is amazing.

Kudos, JB.

The Scooby gang and two cops gather around a tied up, defeated Phoenix.
FRED: Let's just see who's under this mask...
Pulls away rubber mask to reveal...
ALL: Old Man Jenkins!
JENKINS: And I'd have gotten away with it, if it weren't for you meddling kids!
The gang and the cops share a laugh as Jenkins-Phoenix is taken away.
SCOOBY DOO: Scooby dooby doo!

I love Spider-Man being out of his league with the FF's adversaries. He got way too tough in the 80s when he was fighting the Red Ghost and all of his Super Apes.

This is getting to be so much fun.
Is the Thing gonna yell his trademark line anytime soon?
THAT would be so cool.
Especially if it annoys the crap outta Doom and Magneto and people cheer him on.
Another great page,
Thanks!

JB: any thoughts on who would win in a fight between Magneto and Graviton?  Maybe handicapped so that it's just a combat of power sets, rather than 'fighting ability' (which I think Magneto wins).
