OHOTMU Vol 1 has Real Name: Unrevealed. He is referred to as 'Kallark' in Issue #1 of the 3-issue 1997 Imperial Guard Mini Series - but not sure if it was established before then.••• Written by Brian Augustyn. Okay.

QUOTE:
Just so no one gets too disappointed, I should mention that Gladiator’s role in all this is significant, but not large. |

I'm relieved.
I was having visions of Gladiator attacking the X-Men the same way he went off on the Fantastic Four, and that would not bode well for our little band of not-so-merry mutants!

No, somebody else will be coming to Earth to attack the X-Men. For a little while, at least. (An interesting aspect of this form of publication, to me anyway, is that I am cheerfully abandoning my original “schedule”. I started out thinking in terms of a twelve issue “arc” for the first year, with my first two part story in 6 and 7. This page-a-day form doesn’t really feel so much like “issues” to me, so I’m allowing the plots and subplots to expand and contract as I see fit. It’s a feeling not unlike what I experienced when the books went from 17 to 22 pages.)

Ya know, I have lost count of the number of complaints I’ve received over the years from readers who said they had “no idea what’s going on” and saw that as a FLAW in the writing. Just no tolerance for mystery and the building of suspense. (Reminds me of a young woman I dated briefly in College. She had many charms, but her least charming aspect would manifest every time we went to a movie. Immediately she would start in with “Who’s that? Why is he doing that? Where are they going? Why did she say that?”)

Very interesting development with Lilandra!
I love the designs of the space ships and Shi'ar buildings.

As I mentioned back during the sneek peeks of the first issue, that ship is a model I built for this purpose. Wanted to make sure it looked the same from all angles. Here's two shots from the epilog of the first issue: I use my Art-o-Graph to trace the images onto the page.

Nice. I love seeing behind the curtain on how you use models in your work.
Also, I have a couple of guesses as to what may be going on. I will wait to see if I am right or wrong.
