I love Banshee's panel in the same way I loved Amanda's panel from Chapter 3.
Last seen after the Proteus Saga, wasn't Madrox in Muir Island? I hope to see it as another Sentinels' target in this chapter.
So was the explosion in Amanda's appartament in Chapter 3, a previous Sentinels' attack? The subplot/suspense is killing me!

One thing that always has disturbed me a bit is that if Sentinels/Project Wideawake was an USA-santioned operation, how could they operate outside of American soil in other countries (in this case Muir Island in Great Britain)? Sentinels' stealth mode? Unofficial collaboration of the countries as they looked away?

Based on what we saw in DAYS OF FUTURE PAST I’d say the Sentinels exceeded their mandate.

I really like how Sean instinctively tries to use his
power, even though he knows his voice is wrecked.

There's one thing I do know, John. And that is, you are here for a reason, and it's not to write and draw comics.

No, wait. Yes it is. Obviously.

These last two pages (4 & 5) are amazing! I think either could be quite a challenge to ink.

I liked the 'jazz' beard on the earlier Mr. Evans in the previous story... forgot to say so. It's so nice that there are small things like that to notice.

Don't know how it's possible but your art is improving from issue to issue. Just fantastic.

Today's panel one shocker harkens back to this classic from nearly 40 years ago!  I note that whereas Claremont shoehorns four sentences from the Sentinel and several sentences more exchanged between Rachel and Storm all as a Sentinel bursts into the tunnel and threatens their lives, John's dialogue is a far more succinct (and realistic) three words total!  In a moment of surprise and terror like this, I find less to be more.

Comparing the panel Rick posted with the Sentinel on page four, it really does highlight just home much JB’s art has grown.

I really loved your art back then (and at all times since) but it just looks more organic & less mechanical now - I hope that makes sense (especially as the panel in question concerns a mechanical construct)

That panel reminds me of a fairly major ARRGH moment in that issue.

I'd marked the mutant prisoners with big Ms on their jumpsuits, and Humans with an H, but Chris chose to add an additional designation, not shown in the art. Readers were left to assume I'd forgotten to draw it.

(And, yes, that panel is a CLASSIC example of Chris stretching time. In context that panel takes a couple of seconds, max. Read all that dialog aloud and clock it. Those characters are standing around doing nothing for quite a long time.)*

* Some of the blame for this can be laid at Shooter's feet, of course. He was pushing in those days for every scrap of information to be presented UP FRONT. Acres of exposition was Chris' response.
