Just saw this Paul. Excellent improvement!

A Joe Kubert tip I saw on a YouTube video is that shadows link objects together in space.  

I think our eyes love shadows in art.

That Al Williamson page is so detailed, I wonder how it looked on newsprint back in the day?

Thanks guys! I have engrained that shadows trait into my brain henceforth!
That Al Williamson page is incredible - and got me to seek out more of his work which is stellar! I wasn't much into his work in the past as a naïve kid - a regret.
Funny how so many artists back then put in full effort with detail knowing it wasn't going to be reproduced on the best paper format.
