It’s possible, tho it would not have been “for the bullpen”. More likely one of those spontaneous eruptions to which we were all prone from time to time.

To place things in context, my mother had the LP of MY FAIR LADY (original Broadway production) which she played constantly when I was a kid. Result, I memorized ALL the songs.

My mom played Cats, Phantom, Les Miz, etc all day, every day until I was sick of it (which didn't take long).  I vowed to never listen to any of them again when I no longer lived with her.  Now my main Pandora station:

I can relate to this-- something you may have done without much concern takes on an air of legend in the retelling because it made such a big impression on someone else.

I can draw and sing okay. But I have received exaggerated amounts of kudos for my talents from lots of people who "can't." (I use quotes because I think most people can, but culture has changed so much that a vast majority of us never seriously try anymore).

Sadly, the massive amounts of dental surgery had a while back messed up the acoustics in my mouth. I can still sing, but the compliments are less forthcoming!
