There is something to be said for voting for something rather than in the negative as being against something else.
I don't know who the groping comment was about though, Bloomberg or Biden or Trump? We know one of those three bragged about doing it and that he didn't have a name staring with B. Has either Bloomberg or Biden had someone say they groped them? Not that I've been able to find out.

Anyone trying to compare either Bloomberg or Biden to Trump is out of their mind... and clearly in favor of screwing up this election.

Sanders has been railing against the "Democratic establishment" for months. When asked in an interview with Rachel Maddow if President Obama is part of the establishment, he says No. That is too funny. How can the former head of the Democratic Party not be part of the establishment. I had more respect for him when he spoke his mind.

I'm not American, but I'd vote for Biden.
Sanders keeps harping on about the groundswell youth that are coming out for him. Where?
I'll grow old before I see them.
This is the same tact as Jeremy Corbyn believed in in the UK.

Folks here who think the Biden nomination is a fait accompli also seem to be forgetting that he's going to get in front of a live mic several dozen times between now and the convention. Including a live televised debate that's looking to be just him and Bernie. He's the Prince Philip of American politics. He is totally capable of deep-sixing himself. Hopefully, he'll do it in the primary and not the general.
If Biden does get the nomination, its four more years of Trump. Trump will come at him from the left on a whole host of issues (i.e. social security) and make himself look more moderate and mainstream than he actually is.

Have you listened to Trump's (mostly) incoherent rallies??? Any debate between them will likely prove very little in terms of WHO'S sharper... Trump's only defense is to call any opponent a liar... which is comically ironic. Biden will be better prepared for his match-ups with Trump I imagine.

All it'll take is one "Poor kids are just as bright and talented as white kids" moment and it'll be a free-for-all.

None of Biden's gaffes over the past nine months has much, if any, impact on him. Nationally, he was the polling front runner until he lost Iowa, which is when his support began to fall. The internet puts way too much emphasis on such gaffes (as evidenced by the fact that Trump was elected despite not mere gaffes or garbled messaging, but truly abhorrent statements).

as evidenced by the fact that Trump was elected despite not mere gaffes or garbled messaging, but truly abhorrent statements --------------------------------------------------------- Apples and oranges. Trump saying misogynist and racist things didn't play badly with the right-wing base. Even far more mild comments along those lines will play much worse with Biden's liberal base.
You've got to remember. Trump doesn't need anyone to vote for him who didn't do it in 2016. He doesn't have to get Democrats to vote for him. He doesn't have to get independents to vote for him. Trump just needs to get them to stay home.
Biden has no way to de-motivate Trump voters. But he can definitely bumble his way into de-motivating his own. If people look at the top of the ballot and are just disgusted, or don't like either candidate ala 2016, so they stay home or leave President blank, Trump wins.
Do you really trust a massive quantity of the US voting public to make the calculation as to which of the two is less misogynistic and corrupt? I mean, for my money, it would be Biden. But isn't it a whole lot easier and cleaner to just stay home than to try to make that calculation?

Can I borrow your crystal ball? -------------------------------------- Yes, because there's no conceivable way to look at past elections, current polling data, etc. etc. and make reasonable predictions about the future. If I believed in magic, I would think that the DNC might let Bernie get the nomination.
