The "internet arguing game" I'm talking about is claiming that any time someone mentions two things, someone has to scream "how dare you equate a and b". Even if you think the person is making an unfair comparison, that's not the same thing as saying two things are equal.

Here's an equivalency... if Bernie believers are against the upper class twit entitlements syndrome buying votes why are they for lower or middle class entitlement syndrome when it buys votes? It's better to talk of investing in people and creating opportunity rather than huge structural changes to spend someone else's money for supposed justice. Create a system to empower not foster further short-sighted dependence. If you haven't earned something it won't mean much, and whining about some stereotype upper class twit somewhere making millions really is the flip of the same coin where they whine about some welfare abuser getting hundreds.

Hard to get people excited for something more complex and in the center involving compromise in the short attention span lack of discrimination for information sources present though. Cheers for being responsible and competent gets drowned out by yays for gimmee some (and hit that other guy). More 'us vs. them' a solution for Trump's 'us vs. them'ism? :^(

I hope everyone criticizing Bernie for making promises he can’t deliver just heard Biden literally promise to cure cancer, Alzheimer’s, and diabetes.

"Democrats are not interested in a revolution, they're interested in getting this guy [President Trump] out of power just as fast as they possibly can." - James Carville

Biden's turnaround in the last 72 hours has got to be one of the most impressive comebacks in recent election history.... I think Democrats have decided who they believe can win against Trump. The next step should be to UNITE the party.

The other establishment candidates were pressured by Barack Obama to drop out and endorse Biden.  Yeah.  Impressive comeback.  It's not over yet.  And Biden has as much chance of beating Trump as I do.

Admittedly, it would be tough in November to decide which old, crazy, corrupt white man who gropes women I want to be President.

I was thrilled when Biden called climate change "an existential mraugh." Biden vs. Trump is going to be a real treat for engaged citizens who value coherence and elocution.

Biden absolutely schooled Paul Ryan during the VP debates, literally tearing apart everything Ryan said that was wrong. That was possibly the best debate I've ever seen in a Presidential election.

Trumphards won't listen because he could tell them the sky is brown, grass is maroon and water burns, and they'd agree. But Biden would annihilate Trump in a debate.

The best vice presidential debate hands down was in 1992 between Al
Gore, Dan Quayle, and the incoherent John Stockdale.

Unfortunately, Biden has lost a step in the past eight years. He’s not
quite the nimble talker he used to be. Besides, debates don’t matter.
Clinton wiped her ass with Trump’s toupee every time they debated,
while he muttered incoherencies like, “No puppet. No puppet. You’re
the puppet.” And Trump is making noise about skipping debates
entirely this year.

Now the best thing one can hope for it´s that it´ll be JUST four more years of Trump.

I'm a big Warren fan, but I think Joe can make it happen if he's the guy.

You need the most conservative Democrats and old people and moderate Republicans to feel OK voting for the candidate. Joe, with a little confidence, and a solid VP, is a do-no-harm choice. He's not the massive problem solver of a Warren or the burly hero of a Bernie, but he's safe.

(Hey, Joe if you're on the JBF- ask Stacy Abrams to be VP.)

Let's be honest Trump is worried about going against Biden.

In debates he probably could have overcome Sanders and Warren. Biden can bring that edge to attack him if he has to.

I'm fully expecting Trump to not accept a single invitation to debate, claiming that the venues/media are biased against him so they wouldn't be fair.
