Now, the bad news: I have come to the realization that I AM going to have to skip posting pages for a month. Various contributing factors have stripped away too much of my lead time, so I'm only a couple of months ahead of what I'm giving you here. Not enough for me!

So, when this "issue" is finished, the next will start unfolding before your eyes on December 7th.

That's assuming we haven't all plunged back into the Dark Ages.

Oh no! But I guess it will be a nice early Xmas present when it returns. November however will be colder and darker than usual.

If Jean and Scott are going to continue seeing one another, I suspect Marvel Girl's time away from the team may not be as long as Mrs. Grey would like.

Oh, and the month-long loss of these daily installments is bad news indeed. However, as LDJH has said, its return in December will be a nice (and very welcome) Christmas gift.

I guess rereading what we have so far will have to do through this upcoming loooong November. Hopefully by December 7 will at least know who the president is.

“Well, that went well!”

Sarcasm?

Not to derail the thread, but that's highly unlikely!

About the same as the time you'd (traditionally) wait for one of those folded paper comics, Wallace!

I can feel Scott's anxiety over Jean leaving.

Only produced by a professional like you, JB.

Not by some young whipper-snapper these days whose only job is to draw.

Hence my use of the word "traditionally", James!

JB: As if on cue, Chris, on the other side of the theater, stood up and shouted to me “Have I got a plot for you!”

Oh boy. :)
Thanks for sharing this story, JB! Sounds like it was a collaboration with some... unusual moments to it.

"I can feel Scott's anxiety over Jean leaving."

Again!

I just went though the early issues, and I had forgotten that Claremont even had Jean appear in #97 (when they fight Havok and Polaris, the issue before the Sentinel battle which lead Phoenix) - though she did not contribute much to the battle.
