The three full page splashes in this issue got me imagining an all splash page issue like JB's Marvel Fanfare #29. Not practical at all for the level of story telling we have been getting for Elsewhen, but the art on all the full page splashes so far is extremely nice.

It can't be an accident that we're not seeing the front of those new Sentinels.

Any colors in mind for these upgraded sentinels? Maybe white with black “domes”? Or is that too similar to Nimrod coloration?

I think we got a non spoiler preview of these new Sentinels about 6-7 months ago when JB gave us a sneak peak of the Avengers flying in to help the X-Men. At the time there was no reason to assume anything other than people in suits, but now we know these are Sentinels and I wonder what havoc they cause. Lastly, how about a subtle nod to the fact we are only seven issues into this series and I am already juggling more "but what about..." additional story lines in my head than ever before.

Small note: after all the page shuffling it looks as if I’ll be ending 2019 and issue 9 on the same day, ie, tomorrow.

I just revisited that page, and think I may finally have one right. (It's a beautiful page, too!)

The 3rd Degree Byrne podcast guys had some nice things to say about ELSEWHEN in the most recent episode, and mentioned this site as the place JB posts it.

Gave a listen to their Xmas installment. Had to give up before long. The guy “reviewing” my Enemy Ace story seemed utterly clueless—especially about WW1.

Rereading the issue, I'm concerned about Shaw's final words "These are Sentinels that you don't dare fight."
A neat little clue for we readers...
Edited to tidy up a clunky sentence.
